New Day Staffing is known as a leader in the staffing industry serving the greater Southern California region. Since opening in 1998, we have staffed and payrolled thousands of technical and clerical personnel with many of the area’s most recognized and trusted employers.

 

We are dedicated to building strong relationships with our clients as well as our contract employees. By addressing and solving the staffing needs required by the diverse industries of technology, biotech, pharmaceuticals and aerospace, among others, New Day Staffing has demonstrated our commitment to handling the details for you. Our management staff members have all risen up through the ranks in the local San Diego staffing industry during each of their 15-20 year careers. Our support staff possess exceptional skills and perform with dedication beyond the industry norm. They have received many compliments and thanks over the years from both clients and employees, yet they continuously seek to improve systems and streamline processes.

 

EXECUTIVE TEAM

 

New Day Staffing knows the local San Diego County workplace market. With a core of highly experienced professionals and access to the most comprehensive candidate selection databases, we have spent ten years working diligently to carve out a niche in this extremely competitive arena. Our primary focus is the three recruiting divisions of the company: clerical staffing, technical staffing, and direct-to-hire capabilities. Equally important to clients and employees are the comprehensive payroll and benefit administration services that we provide.   

 

Dave Catanzaro – Division Manager

Dave Catanzaro is a team builder and motivator with 23 years of experience in the staffing industry. He spearheaded the Technical Division when he joined  in 2002. Dave’s group supplies temporary technical employees as well as direct hire staffing needs. He oversees and manages all functions of sales and recruiting and is responsible for the Division’s growth and profitability. Dave “knows everybody”!  That’s a standing joke within the company, but with 23 years of industry experience in the San Diego market, he does have working relationships with many managers and employees of the aerospace, communication, technical, engineering and bio-tech firms in the area. Dave is committed to seeking out and matching the best available talent with clients who can fully utilize the employee’s skills to grow the client’s company.

 

Farhad Noroozi - Manager

Farhad Noroozi has been involved in all aspects of the Technical Division, including the direct hire process, technical recruiting, sales and marketing, since he began with New Day Staffing in 2002. His previous career as a trained and experienced Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager is invaluable when hiring for many of the positions required by technology-based companies in this competitive market. Farhad relies on his technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure that the best qualified candidates are hired by New Day Staffing clients.

 

Guadalupe Diaz - Staffing Manager

Guadalupe Diaz has been with New Day Staffing since January 2009. He came to New Day with 10 years experience in the staffing industry having worked with National Staffing Agencies as a Staffing Manager and On-Site Account Manager. At New Day Staffing Guadalupe takes pride in the partnership we offer our clients. New Day, through diligent staffing and operations, provides our clients and our associates the best and most professional experience a staffing agency can offer. We are focused on customer service and making sure we are doing everything we can to provide a service to our clients that is second to none.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

 

The staff of New Day Staffing is our greatest asset. Although technically a “new” business due to an owner- ship change in May 2009, half of the staff have worked here together between seven and ten years. The Technical Division joined the Payroll Services Division in 2002 in order to add recruited staffing to the company’s offerings. A Clerical Division was included in 2005; all three of the current Clerical Division staff worked together previously and they have formed an extraordinary team.
